Case Study: Test Tool Maintenance
Customer:
The customer is an IT solutions company that specializes in distributing model management software to enterprises. Recently, it was chosen by Portland business magazine as one of 100 private businesses with the fastest growth. It was also chosen by Oregon business magazine as one of the top 100 performing companies in Oregon.
Project Description:
This is one phase of customer's automation test project. In this phase we need to do:
- Develop 4 Performance Test Tools to measure T4 Enterprise application automatically (Duration Setup, Daily Interaction, Agent Profile, Promote Variations).
- Maintain 17 old test tools from Automation2 to cover more cases on different platforms (Solaris, Redhat, AIX, HP-UX, Windows ...)
- Develop Security Content Management Policies to know whether the test platforms are compliance with CIS, DISA, NIST security standard or not.
- Develop TE i18n string externalization then we can use TE in Japanese.
