Our management is a team of technology, business and social visionaries who provide direction to FPT Software in a dynamic economic and business environment. The board consists of senior officers of FPT Software including all active founders, along with independent members of the board who are global leaders and high achievers in business and society.

Mr. Hoang Nam Tien
Chairman

Tien graduated from IT Department, Hanoi University of Technology in 1993. He has been working for FPT since 1993 and made a great contribution to the development of FPT Corporation. During his working time in FPT, Tien has kept a number of key positions.

From 1995 to 2003, he was the Vice Director of FCD Computer Distribution Center, Planning Manager of FPT in Hanoi, and then Vice Director of the FPT branch in Ho Chi Minh City.

From 2003 to 2008 he was the General Director of FPT Distribution Company. Under his smart leadership, FPT Distribution became the largest distributor in Vietnam and one of the most profitable of the FPT Corporation. During this time, he also became a member of the Board of Management of FPT Corporation, General Director of FPT Land Co. Ltd., General Director of FPT Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park Development Co. Ltd.

In 2009, Tien was the chairman of FPT Trading Group Joint Stock Company. In 2010, he was the Chairman of FPT Hoa Lac Hi - tech Park Development Co. Ltd. As a leader, he possesses an excellent business instinct and is respected by employees.

 

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam
Chief Executive Officer

Lam got his Information Technology Diploma from Technical University Dresden (1990-1995), Germany and an Economics Diploma from University of Munich (1996-1999).

Lam began his career at FPT from 2000. With over 5 years of experience as Senior Manager, 5 years of experience in software project management and 10 years of experience in software industry, Lam has experienced working for most of FPT Software branches in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Malaysia, Japan, etc. He had held many high-level positions in the Company such as project manager, business unit leader, deputy director of FPT Software Ho Chi Minh City. Especially, he was appointed as Managing Director of FPT Japan in 2009, Managing Director of FPT Software Ho Chi Minh City in 2010 and Vice President of FPT Software in 2011.

 

Mr. Nguyen Lam Phuong
Chief Technology Officer, Senior Vice President

Phuong began his career at FPT Corporation as a developer after having received his Master of Science in Computing Science and Networking from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute in 1991. He obtained an Executive MBA from the University of Hawaii in 2003.

Prior to the establishment of FPT Software, Phuong worked as a Project Manager and then a Group Leader for FPT Corporation’s subsidiary (FPT Software Solutions). He was appointed Deputy Managing Director of FPT Software in 1999, , managing director of FPT Software Worldwide Co. Ltd. a subsidiary company of FPT Software, in 2010. During more than 20 years working for the company, he has made a great contribution to the development of FPT and FPT Software Corporation.

 

Mr. Nguyen Khai Hoan
Chief Finance Officer, Vice President 

Hoan graduated from the Academy of Finance under Government of Federal republic of Russia in 1999 and successfully obtained a Ph.D. degree in economics, specializing in investment in the Institute of economics under Academy of Sciences in Russian Federation in 2003. In the same year, he joined FPT as a specialist in the Accounting and Finance Department.

From 2004 to 2005, he held the position of Chief Accountant of FPT Software, a subsidiary of FPT Corporation. From 2005 to date, he undertook the position of Head of Finance and Chief Accountant of FPT Software, responsible for supervising and operating accounting and finance activities of FPT Software in Vietnam as well as branches and offices in foreign countries such as Japan, Singapore, USA, EU and Malaysia.

 

Mr. Nguyen Quang Hoa
Chief Operating Officer, Vice President

Hoa graduated from Information Technology department of Hanoi University of Technology in 1993, and received his Information Technology Master Degree in Twente Univesity in Netherlands in 2007.

Hoa began his career at FPT since 1995. After leaving FPT from 2001 for further studying, he came back to the company in 2007 as a potential leader of an operational group of FPT Software Worldwide Co. Ltd., a subsidiary company of FPT Software. .

 

Mr. Phan Phuong Dat
Vice President

Dat received his PhD in Applied Math in 1999 at the State University of Moldova, a former USSR Republic. He has 10 years of experience working as HR and Training Manager from 1999-2009. During this time, he took part in developing FPT Software's workforce from 20 people to more than 2000 people. From June 2007 to Dec 2009, he worked as HR Manager for FPT Corporation (the mother company of FPT Software with more than 9000 employees) and helped to implement PeopleSoft HCM FPT-wide. From Jan 2010, he came back to FPT Software to be in charge of HR and Corporate Communication. Besides HR, Dat also worked in Process Improvement (led CMM-5 and CMMI-5 implementation projects during 2004-2006) and Corporate Communication (internal communication system, social activities, etc.)

 

Mr. Pham Minh Tuan
Vice President

Tuan used to be a Developer and Project Leader for FPT Corporation. From 1999-2000, he worked as the Technical Director of FPT India Branch. Tuan is currently the Director of FPT Software Ho Chi Minh Branch and is a Vice President of FPT Software.
