Compliance with Laws and International Agreements on Intellectual Property (IP) is a critical element in our long-term development strategy. We recognize the importance of intellectual property in maintaining a competitive advantage and of excluding others from using your asset. All our employees are committed to protecting the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) of our clients and partners as stated in the contract agreements and associated official documents. Information security management system (ISMS) and information security policies are in accordance with BS7799 2:2002 (ISO/IEC 27001:2005) has made FPT Software the first IT company in Vietnam to meet the rigorous security standards. By applying the standards, we have created a solid infrastructure on software development and securities across all delivery locations to protect the information assets of the Company, Partners, Customers and Suppliers from all threats, whether internal or external, accidental or deliberate.

It's FPT Software's policy to develop an IP Protection and ISMS Manual and training courses to ensure the implementation of the Policies. The Manual elaborates the Policies in a practical way, paying special attention to the particulars of offshore software development and clients' IP and Information Asset Protection.
To ensure the proper enforcement of the Policies, FPT Software has regular training programs on IP and ISMS for its employees, which are conducted by relevant experts, familiarizing employees with the concept, updating them on new legislation, and informing them of their obligations with respect to the use of copyrighted and licensed materials. Emphasis is placed on protecting IPR and Information Asset of our clients and partners. All our employees are also required to sign an IP Protection Agreement as part of the Employment Contract.
